Reed is pipe-tube material, similar to bamboo only thinner and is usually available near lakes and meadow. Reed and straw was very common material for thatching – the craft of building a roof with dry vegetation material. Also it is common lightweight material for reed fences and traditional seasonal decoration – puzuri.
